‘Naked’ – what does it say to you? Where does it take you? Naked; a term that could apply to things that are no longer disguised or covered.
‘Candle’ – the role it has played in our history and our evolution. So many rituals that involve them and gifts brought through them. What stands out for you?
‘Birthday’ – we all have one. The day we are born, a marker for our annual celebrations. We all experience that birthday differently and have our own feelings, and thoughts about what it means and what we want from it.
‘Table’ – where does the word take you? So many types of tables. An inanimate object, that has many uses, with lots going on in and around it. Once again, a moment to take us somewhere we may not otherwise have ventured into. Some lovely realisations arrived, and it was lovely to hear the stories.
Quickly. It once again drew out themes that related to life. It had us explore feelings about things, phenomena and way of life. It’s amazing the power of a word.
‘Colour’ – the magic of. The incredible gift of light that brings the spectrum of possibilities. So many shades and variations, that can be seen and experienced in every thing that exists around us.
‘Moon’ – what an amazing thing, our moon. So many tales, stories, poems, philosophies about this constant visitor in our lives. No matter where you are in the world, this is our common. We all share the magic of it. We all enjoy the variation of it.
‘Window’ – a great word to reflect on this week. So many ways we use the word window, and quite significant with meaning and application.
‘Scam’ – a word that arrived and unfortunately nowadays, is something that has meaning for many of us in some way or other.
It was interesting to hear more about the moth. Similar to the beauty of a butterfly, however with difference. It appears that moths tend to be stockier and have furry bodies, whereas butterflies are smooth and lean.
A concept about a time that is yet to be experienced. Often seen as an unknown, that is anticipated, yet often unaware it is upon us now, before our eyes.
Every now moment was yesterday’s future and tomorrows past. So where did this take us in our expressions this week.
‘Survive’ – a great word that took us all in different directions within the poetry and the discussion; about life, the planet, inanimate objects, viruses, the spirit of humanity, impermanence. A great way to express something about how we see and experience the world.
