Time to Care…
Watching the shoots emerge
Each day a slither more
The uncurling leaves
In perfect form
Opening up to the world
Nature’s wonder
In progress
I felt so pleased
That I turned despair
Of losing the plant
Into extra care
A new spot
And healthy drops
I now reap the rewards
As I begin each day

Way of the World
i fear the sludge of humanity
is engulfing our identity
greed, control more conditioning
they say it’s progress
but I’m not listening
how ghastly to be like that
it would be a welcomed distraction
to reap rewards of satisfaction
feeling pride, decency and unity
flow back into our community
