Love / Hate. We decided to choose one or the other or both.
What does love mean to you? What do you love?
Then there is hate… This could relate to something simple, like getting caught in the rain! Or perhaps from what may be deeply embedded in your psyche, like a negative feeling about someone or something, that you can’t let go.
Either way, powerful words like these, often open the way to notice something about yourself, where there is often ‘both’ ( see PJR’s poem below).

Who Do You Love?
He plays beautiful piano
When his hands were flying
It felt he took me to a jewel blue creek
I heard a calming whispering voice and saw some delicate yellow and white daisies
He talks with passion
His eyebrows and hands move around when he described the unexpected events in his life
His voice fluctuated as I was sitting in a play rehearsal
Sometimes he closed his eyes
Trying to find the best word
He also has a childlike innocence
When he saw my toy collection
He couldn’t help
But running closer to see them clearly
Then hugged them one by one and started to touch
My fluffy kangaroo, puppy and avocado
So cute and soft
He said with a big smile
We talked from afternoon till midnight, nonstop
It was not a surprise though

Each New Day
The things…Â
I once hated
That took up spaceÂ
That stripped my self worth
That fueled resentment
Unhealthy desires
That used up my energyÂ
That zapped my creativity
That stole my freedomÂ
That became my reality…
Have finally made their wayÂ
Through the cracksÂ
Escaping the pools of painÂ
I once swam amongst each dayÂ
Arriving at a completely new view
Of me and you
Rescued by a loving breeze
Bringing with it
Simplicity and ease
Â
Now a place
To enjoy my uniqueness
Give energy to small things
That matter…
With calmness and peaceÂ
No longer feeling shatteredÂ
Breathing freelyÂ
As I walk through my dayÂ
Confidently able to sayÂ
Without needing to playÂ
With my wordsÂ
So as not to unsettle the herds…
Yes, I’ve come a long wayÂ
