The heart holds the truth
The pathway to our freedom
It’s always been there
Despite our separation
It is time to reacquaint

We have been looking at the world as it is, growing a deeper understand of how and why we have arrived here at this time in our evolution. We also know it is time to discover the self beneath the surface, so that we can bring balance back to our lives, and steer things differently… towards light and love. The posts in this next section, focus on that.
Why the heart?
We are now seeing the impact when the natural balance no longer exists. The ripple effect when the heart and spirit no longer bring connection and guidance, has slowly led to a deterioration of the human form and the environment we are a part of. The risks are becoming clear.
History however has given us clues about the importance of the heart, which was expressed in philosophies, ancient civilisations, science and religions. While they each varied in their expression, they are all centred around the nature and existence of love.
In their own way, although difficult to define, they each highlight that we are all deeply intertwined, suggesting that our individual well-being depends on the collective well-being of humanity.
What is evident; we are meant to widen our circle of love as much as possible.
Einstein’s work provides insightful scientific explanations about heart connections and healing for people and the planet.
He emphasises how the heart is an accessible pathway for mental, physical, spiritual, social and emotional health and wellbeing, and recognises that man’s ‘evils’ are due to the absence of this type of Divine love.
It is an important revelation!
It provides us with hope.
It shows us that while we have worked to fix the ‘evils’ that stem from our deep inner fears, (which has given energy to ‘fight’ and ‘fuel’ the fire)… there is another way.
Through the heart with the frequency of love, there is the potential to shift the balance to positively affect the health and wellbeing of humans and the planet.
‘The intimacy that arises in listening and speaking truth is only possible if we can open to the vulnerability of our hearts. Breathing in, contacting the life that is right here, is our first step. Once we have held ourselves with kindness, we can touch others in a vital and healing way’. Tara Brach

The Science of the Heart
The studies conducted by science (including Dr. J. Andrew Armour at the University of Montreal) show the incredible nature of the heart as a highly complex system with its own functional brain, where signals are continuously sent to the brain, influencing the higher brain centres involved in perception, cognition, and emotional experience.
In the 1990’s HeartMath Institute researchers, identified a physiological state called ‘heart coherence’ — a type of coherence that occurs when our body’s systems, our breathing, heart rhythms, brain rhythms and hormonal response, nervous system, are in sync with each other, leading to harmony of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states.
It is a two way process where our emotional state also impacts coherent patterns. Negative emotions, such as anger or frustration, are associated with erratic, disordered patterns and in contrast, positive emotions such as love, appreciation, compassion, joy are associated with smooth, ordered coherent patterns.
As these coherence patterns and interactions increase in the body’s systems, so does the brain’s alpha activity which supports stress relief and creativity.
Learning how to achieve a more coherent patterns, lessens the time we spend in the erratic state, where our all our systems (physiology, neurology, biology) are under stress and at risk of disfunction.
Heart rate variability is a biofeedback tool that provides helpful information that can help us to better align our HMBS with the universal frequencies.
There are also many other markers that can help you to determine what is happening in your body; blood pressure, stress hormones, inflammation markers.
In time and with practice through your own senses, you can tune in and feel where you are along the heart coherence spectrum.
The power of your senses (unlike other devices) is that they are available and accessible to you at any time.
There are many ways to move yourself into coherence, which will be an important and useful skill in moving from the conditioned mind to the heart. We will go into this a little later throughout the book.
What are you feeling about the concept of heart coherence?
Universal Connection
There are many interesting things we can draw from in relation to our universe, all of which can be helpful when building an understanding of the unseen.
The earth’s frequency or what is often termed its ‘heartbeat’ or Schumann Resonance, 7.83 Hz (which was named after physicist Winfred Otto Schumann) matches these alpha brainwaves visible during states of relaxation and cell regeneration.
The universal frequency of 432 Hz first discovered by Heinrich Hertz in 1887 also matches the brainwaves visible during states of healing and relaxation in people.
It is believed that Earth’s magnetic field is part of the collective consciousness, as there is substantial evidence, that information is embedded in and communicated via the electromagnetic fields generated by the body’s physiological systems.
The heart is the most powerful source of electromagnetic energy in the human body, with an electrical field about 100 times greater in amplitude than by the brain.
It is felt that the heart receives ‘intuitive’ information before the brain, which suggests that the heart’s field is linked to a more subtle energetic field that contains information on objects and events remote in space or ahead in time.
This highlights how the heart can be a source of insights, before the brain gets involved. It highlights the importance of developing our ability to tap into that source. Some schools of thought have also suggested that it is not the mind that generates our thoughts…
“Our entire biological system, the brain, and the Earth itself, work on the same frequencies.” Nikola Tesla
It also shows how humans, like all other biological systems on earth, are interconnected and part of a bigger cycle. It recognises the role of humans in the total ecology of the earth.
While we may see ourselves as individual and separated, we are in fact part of the universal cycle. While the human eye cannot see these frequencies (however like things such as electricity and radar) we know they exist. We are still discovering more insights and truths about our connection with the universe.
Have you ever felt such a connection beyond yourself?
Interesting things about the heart
There is much mystery about the heart, that we are only beginning to discover… Did you know…
When people tap into their heart space through meditation, it emits a frequency that has impact. Beginning studies on the Maharishi Effect in Washington 1993, showed correlations between the increase in coherence amongst the participants, and a decrease (over 23%) in the crime rate trends that year.
Everything has a frequency; atoms and molecules are always moving, so too do solid objects as well as light, radio waves, X-rays. Metaphysics also explains how states, emotions and thoughts, also have frequencies.
Emotional contagion through low electro magnetic fields, transmits shared emotional experiences and physiological changes (heart rate and more) from one person to another.
Moods of others can be sent to the brain, for it to feel the same, through what’s called ‘mirror neurons’. For example the stress from a manager, or the words from TV program or social media post, can be felt despite the distance involved.
That heart transplant recipients, state that they feel different types of emotions and memories, which Dr Jonathon Fisher (cardiologist and mindfulness teacher) suggests are stored in the cells of the donated heart. His book Just One Heart: A Cardiologist’s Guide to Healing, Health and Happiness, highlights a field that exists beyond Western Medical Science, in which Eastern wisdom and spirituality provides explanation.
That there is a syndrome called broken heart syndrome, that studies show is the result of the emotional pain experienced from a traumatic or grief event, which highlights how our HMBS are connected and interdependent.
That studies on electrical receptors are being done in relation to the static electrical build up in our bodies, which has shown to be released through ‘grounding’ where our feet touch the earth. And also where ‘earthing’ or ‘grounding’ freely transfers electrons into the body to neutralise free radicals and reduce inflammation. A study … shows the magnitude of the electrical receptors.

Spirit connection
The heart throughout time has revolved around love and care, with a natural capacity for qualities such as compassion, appreciation, curiosity, awe. While it is normal to feel both negative and positive emotions from events happening in our life, the heart knows and accepts this as part of life cycle.
There is no facade with the heart and is interested in only you becoming all of who you are and what you are here for; to experience life with love and care for you, others, and the planet.
The heart taps into something more than your circumstances. It feeds your spirit, your life force, and what some (including those in religions or who have had near death experiences) might suggest – your soul.
Quantum physics is beginning to explain and understand more about the soul. A recent Nobel laureate and one of the most rigorous mathematical physicists, Roger Penrose, proposes that like energy cannot be created or destroyed (only transformed), he believes that quantum information follows the same principle. This suggests that information may be scattered and dispersed, as the universe does not simply erase it.
This is not a new phenomena, as many people who have have near death or death experiences who have returned, share about this alternative level of consciousness.
In Susan Grau’s book titled ‘Limitless Lessons, Limitless Life’, she shares more about her experiences, and suggests there is a reason for your life experience and what you have come to earth to experience; and that is to feel, and learn to master living your life.
She talks of the human capacity to feel this level of appreciation for what life is, even in the midst of tragedy and challenge. It is the reason we can do some extraordinary things such as bring compassion when in personal pain or bring strength when in desperation.
Have you had your own experience of connection to the spirit and the essence of you?
When you are living your life in this way, there is no longer a chase to ‘find your purpose’ because all of the things you engage are done with the heart’s intention to discover, learn and become fulfilled. It may be through your cooking, your hobbies, your relationships, your work, your volunteering, your creativity, your learning…
There is only one you and this is your chance to discover you.
How do you feel about the purpose of your life and life itself?
The Japanese word Mushin is about having trust in life, where you move from the panic and reacting, towards responding. Where your ego steps out of the way, giving space for your intuition and awareness, guide you with what and when to act, to wait, or to let go. Where the mind quietens, lessening your fear, pressure, overthinking, and money worries. Where abundance follows and you come back home to you…
With this trust, there is understanding that you have the capability to arrive at what you need when you need it, which helps you to live in the present without anxiety.
No matter what you face, there is a way. It may not be perfect, but you manage to move through it with more creativity and insight from the heart and spirit, and less stress on yourself.
Pure love
This version of you, doesn’t require you to ‘be’ anything. In life today, we work on ‘being’ kind, happy, funny, grateful or whatever it is, however trying to be these things may come from expectations or reasons why you ‘should’. This is not the focus.
The story that sold us that we are born flawed may have led us to conform to the rules for our salvation.
Moving to the heart however changes that.
Instead of chasing that reward, we discover who we are. We realise it’s not about trying to ‘be’ what is expected, rather having the presence to feel who we are and why it is important to bring that self.
We can not find this from a source outside of us. It comes from a source within us.
When the heart is in coherence, the frequencies from the heart, connects you with this deeper source of pure love that naturally arrives at a desire to bring care, kindness and consideration.
And as you bring this to your life, you become more fully who you are, it leads to a deeper love for yourself and for others.
I take your love and give you mine. It is not the love of a man for a woman, it is not the love of a father for a child, it is not the love of God for His creatures, but rather a love that has no name or explanation, like a river that cannot explain why it flows in a specific path, but simply flows forward. A love that asks for nothing and gives nothing in return, it just exists. I will never belong to you, and you will never belong to me; But, I can honestly say: I love you, I love you, I love you
Paulo Coelho,
Have you felt that yourself, where you followed your heart?
