What a ride…
No matter how bumpy the ride
There’s no need to hide
There will always be ups
There will always be downs
It’s a constant cycle
That keeps going around
Yet from the beginning of time
We haven’t wanted pain
We don’t see the gain
And instead we complain
And even refrain
From doing what we love
Which is a shame
And when things go wrong
We sing a song
About why we believe
We don’t belong
Then we fall
Rather than stand tall
No longer able to see
How to be
So don’t let the turning tides
Affect your life
When a surprise
In the guise of demise
Arrives…
It is time to be wise

Time to Dance
in the sight of ancient warriors
modern medicine came to me
it saved me to be here longer
to enjoy this beautiful life I have
with cherished family and friends
Then..
some people touch your lives in such a way
she saved my life so I could stay
i am in awe of this beautiful lady
like an angel you knocked on my door
then gently flew away
as I rake through my journey
and try to understand it,
At times i do
Laying here now in my hospital room
a peaceful silence engulfs me
the road was so smooth
not bumpy at all
