Hope to see you at a session.
Next fortnights’s words are: Messy…giggles…mimic

Cross the line…
Unbeknownst to me
I was never free
Stolen by what the world projected
How could I ever feel protected?
Playing the role of who I was meant to be
Until the time I could see
That I needn’t shy away
From the person I am today
(So who is that, may I ask?)
I’ll be honest it is now my task
To go within to somewhere deep
And meet…
(what was once an impossible feat)
The parts I would once hide
The facades I strongly denied
To now brave the fire
With a strong desire
To find the sublime
As I cross the rugged line
To face the good the bad and ugly
The happy the sad and grumpy
Stripped bare where I can feel what’s real
Never again, available to steal…

A Taste of Fantasy
While walking in a meadow one day
I saw a scarecrow along the way
He looked so mean and grumpy
With his face distorted and lumpy
And then I thought I saw him smile
So I went over and sat for awhile
It gets lonely out here he said
So taken aback I sat in silence
So real, was that a joke?
And then again he spoke
You stopped to sit with me
You’re new around here, what can you see
My eyes widen with a sense of calm
The scarecrow and me
A taste of fantasy
