Miss You…
Looking for signs
I couldn’t believe my eyes
There on the sill
A feathered quill
On the date he passed
Something at last
Sparked my spine
T’was the spirit divine
Hearing the whisper from my dad
I felt so glad
Because on that day
I had wanted to say
How much I missed him…

The Irish
One special thing I found in Irish culture is participation.
Not just a few people showcasing their musical skills,
but the way music is for everyone.
Everyone is welcome to join.
That’s why they have music sessions.
No matter how cold, wet, or rainy the day,
people gather in a cozy pub to play,
to sing,
to dance heaviness away,
and to chat over a beer in that warm Irish way.
What a special way to connect,
what a vibe to reflect.
The smiles on people’s faces,
the resilience that grows from Irish hearts
it stays with me till this day.
What a wonderful example, I’d say,
of adding a chorus of joy to a grey day.

Definitely not AI
Gentlemen in their finest
Stroll slowly across the lawn
Their flirtatious gestures
Siphons the satisfaction of mischief
Making the ladies giggle
As they twirl their parasols
Wave their kerchiefs
Over fluttering lashes
A showcase of swans
Graciously gliding on the lake
He stoops to the ground
A perfect feather he has found
To create a fine keepsake
For the one who makes his heart ache
This is for you my Milady
As he nods with a smile
And gives her a wink
She accepts with pleasure
A fine quill she will treasure
