A Little Messy
It is the little things
That makes moments fun
Like a beach day with the grandchildren
Buckets spades wind and sun
Though it got a little messy
Then home for some lunch
Independence is the key
Eggs carrot bread and peas
Playing kamikaze
Dare say it got a little messy
then some time to play with toys
Creativity runs free
Lego cars magnets and puzzles
Dare say it got a little messy
Then came the painting
Picassos in the making
Red blue greens and browns
By the end we looked like clowns
You got it- it got a little messy
So I must confess
I did wonder
If it’s actually mess
That makes life fun
And brings out the
Real giggles
