The Magic
the notes came together
in a delightful tune
fingers frolicking playfully
dancing in divine harmony
with a frequency that
touched the heart strings
an angelic sound
brought my feet to the ground
and my eyes to a space
where I could feel the grace
that comes with a beauty
so profound…
it takes you somewhere
if you dare
go deep inside
where pure love resides
and peace is near
where there is no fear
like a deep well
in a spell
no desire to stop
the drop into
the chasm so light
such a delight
what a magical way
to enjoy music played…

My Little Secret
A special day out this week
Off to the zoo what a treat
Our teacher Miss Clarke
Has us all in a line
As we observe the monkeys climb
They made me giggle
I could not stop
One looked just like her
My sides are aching
It’s becoming infectious
Compose yourselves we are told
Now move on and mind your behaviour
Oh look at the giraffes
They move with such grace
Meandering along like in slow motion
Enjoying their space I have a notion
The birds, the tigers and lots of bats
So much to see I just love the zoo
We have a snack then make our way back
Miss Clarke grins at me
As she writes in her notes
I can still see that monkey
Climbing the tree
So I give a grin back
And try not to giggle
