Entice / enticing. A choice with the word for the week.
With so much out there to entice us, what stands out for you? Perhaps how a spider captures its prey into its web? Or the way nature draws us in? Or the way we become lured by technology and other platforms? No matter what, it has us reflect and connect with how we see things, and what we feel.
If you would like to open up to how you feel with words and expressions, it can be a wonderful way to lighten the load of what you would normally keep inside you.
We will be having a break for 2 weeks, and will return on January 6th at 6pm with the word ‘shelter’. Visit the events calendar for the link.
Hope to see you there

Entice Me Moon
Â
Self-doubt how enticing
So easy to say this is what I’ve done
Instead I could say: well I’m dumb
Or embrace my lack of self confidence
And say this is ok: this is fun
So as I sit on my balcony
The full moon reflecting on the sun
Tonight it’ eyes so bright
High cheekbones set in shadow
A mouth not yet set quiet right
My perception struggles to fight
Because others see a precise
Image of the moon complete
Yet I struggle to understand
How is it the moon I that I see
Is laughing at me
As if I’ll never comprehend
The images others recommend
I’m blind lost and incomplete
So come to me moon
Entice me with your mood
A word a sigh a reply
Help me to survive
I sat on my balcony tonight
To integrate you in my life
Watching you float
Across the ink black night
Deciding to accept you or not
And let the dawn the new sunrise
Take you away in the daylight
Come entice me moon come back soon
So I might believe who I might be

Well Hello…
Â
Every evening at their usual timeÂ
They arriveÂ
Their beautiful voices grace the night airÂ
Summer is hereÂ
Welcome and thank youÂ
You entice meÂ
Into your natural worldÂ
I am at peaceÂ

Judge Less
Short pants
Lots of hip movements
This is too much
Too enticing
Not what a good girl should do
But my close friend is doing it
Enjoying her little funk world
What if this is just for self-enjoyment
Her way of having fun with the music and connecting to her body
Not for pleasing anyone else
Can she?
Can we?
Judge less.
