In our lives we are often striving, trying and working hard to achieve goals in situations and relationships which may not feel right. We may feel lost, unhappy about some or all aspects of our lives and do not know why.
We just work harder and harder at trying to fit in and make things work. It may be that we have not considered a fundamental truth which is:
YOU HAVE A CHOICE: From your heart, you can choose your ‘wants’ and ‘not-wants’. Your choice comes down to:
- Accept what you are in (i.e. stay, as things are)
- Change it (i.e. consider how things could change to feel acceptable)
- Move away from it – i.e. consider this option when ‘accept’ or ‘changing’ no longer feels comfortable for you – You may feel/believe moving away is not an option… now may be the time to reconsider…
Action: Reflect on how you feel about these choices in your moments and situations.
