JENNY MEAD, Mindful movement (from Aug 5)

This is a movement class derived from Qigong, Tai Chi, Pilates and Yoga.
Through gentle, flowing movements you will cultivate a sense of balance in both the mind and the body. By developing the mind-body connection, you will experience benefits in focus, concentration and overall well-being.
This class culminates with exercises in deep breathing and relaxation. It also can be
performed either standing or seated, so suits all physical capabilities.

Mindful Movement is the act of moving with awareness on the body in the present moment. Consciously adopting an attitude of curiosity, openness and approaching while noticing what is happening to your thoughts and emotions. Practice encourages gentle kindness to yourself, gratitude for the practice and for dedicating the time to care for yourself.

Jenny brings over 30 years of experience and accumulated knowledge from the Fitness Industry, Calisthenics, Dance and her career as an Allied Health Professional, to the calendar.

Mindful movement is suitable for people of all ages and stages of life. As part of Keep Moving Lifestyle, this approach brings many physical, emotional and psychological improvements.
